I have recently transitioned again to Nikon :) There is something about the D700 that drew me back (actually, a lot of things!). The feel, AF, metering, flash control, and ISO abilities are a few of the features that brought me back to the "dark side." I will go into more detail about my switch in a future post.
My wife was kind enough to pose for me while I did some test shots with my gear. She is SO nice! The gear I was using was the Nikon D700, Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR, Nikon SB-600, lightstand, and a Wescott umbrella (32"). I used the SB-600 off camera triggered by the pop-up flash on the D700. I was extremely pleased with the results! I want to thank my beautiful wife for giving up some of her time so I could practice my technique!
